Cg6 Inc. took part in Global Entrepreneurship Week with a 95% turnout

November 27, 2009, Toronto – With the support of Impact Entrepreneurship Group, George Brown College and University of Waterloo, Cg6 Inc. (www.cg6.com) ran three sessions of open mike discussions at George Brown College and University of Waterloo, participated at the Impact National Conference 2009 and the 2009 Impact Gala during the Entrepreneurship Week Canada, held on Nov 16th to Nov 22nd inclusively. Having close to 90,000 impressions, ONCONTACT withanEntrepreneur resulted in a 95% turnout.

Entrepreneurship Week Canada is a nation-wide campaign embracing innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009, the week brought together like-minded individuals together to promote and celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.

ONCONTACT withanEntrepreneur
With the support of University of Waterloo, ONCONTACT withanEntrepreneur was featured on their Alumni enewsletter. In addition, ONCONTACT withanEntrepreneur was also mentioned on the Impact Entrepreneurship Group’s November Newsletter; Global Entrepreneurship Week Newsletter and their blog; University of Waterloo Career Services’ Student page and the Career Services Events’ newsletter; Society of Internet Professionals newsletter and their blog. The event also got listed on a number of activities and event calendars including the UW Event, totaling close to 90,000 impressions on the internet.

Impact National Conference 2009
Being an Exhibition sponsor at the Impact National Conference, Cg6 Inc. was able to share its mission and passion to young minds and respective industries. The conference attracted 500 of the top high school and post-secondary students from across Canada. This is where youth leaders and like-minded individuals with a passion for entrepreneurship gather to inspire, learn, educate, and cultivate their peers with the entrepreneurial spirit.

Impact Gala
Cg6 Inc. was delightful to be a guest attending the 2009 Impact Gala “Dare to Dream”. The gala featured Justin Trudeau as keynote speaker. Justin is passionate about engaging and empowering youth to think and act entrepreneurial. His work with environmental groups and youth activism set an extraordinary example for today’s youth and demonstrates him as a leader propelling positive change in Canada.

In his speech, Justin refreshed youths with these words with a reminder to industry’s current entrepreneurs, “You are not tomorrow’s leader, but today’s leaders.” Cg6 Inc. is honoured to be involved in an event having him speak and share his encouraging words.

Impact is teaming up with The On Contact with an Entrepreneur event will take place on Tuesday November 17th at 7pm-9pm in DC 1302.  This event is a panel discussion hosted by Cg6 Inc. that educates and promotes to young professionals the different faces of entrepreneurship.
